After gaining great business experience in my career in the technology industry, I decided that it was time to take a leap and focus my energy on my true passion, real estate. Our homes have such an influence on our lives in so many ways- I love helping people to find their dream home, or achieve their goals by maximizing their returns on what is usually their greatest investment.
I have lived in Seattle for over 30 years - since I came here to attend the UW. Since graduating, I have lived, worked, and/or owned property in almost every neighborhood in Seattle. Each neighborhood has their own character, their own amenities, pros, cons, and quirks. I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate this city with all that it offers, and the unique lifestyle that is Seattle.
Over my past 15 years in real estate, I have become a specialist in the Greater Seattle Metro real estate market, with a more recent focus on the distinct communities of Queen Anne and Magnolia. I bring comprehensive knowledge and experience in Residential, Distinctive Luxury, and Investment Properties.
Much of my business is working with buyers. Buying in this competitive market can be stressful and frustrating, but it doesn't have to be. I understand that choosing a home is a very personal as well as a financial decision. It's also my job to help my buyers understand the market and the process, and to strategize with them to be sure that we’re prepared to compete successfully when we find their perfect home. When working with sellers, my prior experience in high tech sales and marketing is a valuable asset. I work closely with my clients to create and execute a specific and detailed marketing plan for their homes- utilizing professional photography, designer staging, optimized online presence, quality marketing materials, targeted campaigns, and appealing open houses. Based on current market data, we plan a strategic timeline and market positioning to heighten exposure and "buzz"- similar to a product launch in the tech industry. Maximizing interest from buyers maximizes the ultimate sale price. My years of experience working with buyers also helps from this side- understanding what really makes a home appeal to people and creating that emotional connection that motivates them.
A significant part of my job is negotiating, on either side of the transaction. I have had many years of experience negotiating agreements, as well as training in all kinds of negotiation tactics. I do believe in the ideal of the win-win and because of this, have built trust and positive working relationships with my colleagues. I will creatively think out of the box to find options and opportunities to make the most of any situation, always keeping an absolute focus on advocating for my client’s best interest.
My business is based on people- almost all of my clients are by referral or are repeat buyers and sellers.
